What is a CLO? (The role of the Chief Learning Officer)

CEO I know, but what is a CLO? CLO is an acronym for Chief Learning Officer. New transformations are constantly taking place, creating a very new and different landscape for organisations. The role of the CLO requires a strategic mindset and experience in organisational development. CLO’s are strategic thought leaders that can help navigate the ship (organisation) to remain effective and sustainable. Learning and development initiatives must align with organisational goals whereby such initiatives then keep the organisation flexible to adjust to the ever – changing environment.
